With the cold air, bare branches, blankets and shawls, the growing quiet of winter calls us to our own retreat. Winter invites us to rest and contemplation, to making time for quiet walks in the few hours of light. The God of winter invites us into a healing rhythm of rest and renewal, of deep listening in the midst of stillness. Winter can speak to us of loss. It is the landscape of our grief in all its beauty and sorrow. In this cold season of stillness, darkness and rest, I am inviting you to join us for a day of reflection as you still your soul and tend to it in this fallow season.
This is a day for you to purposefully disconnect from the world around you and from the
demands of your schedule and connect with the rhythm of the season and Creator as
you listen to the needs, desires, and calls of your soul. It is sure to be a day of
transformation for you as Farmstead will provide the space for you to experience a
meeting with the Divine.
